Out on my lunchtime walk in Bexleyheath I noticed that Bexley Coucil had installed a new road sign, however they have made one slight error, the new sign is only viewable from one point standing on the grass, otherwise it is completely blocked from view by the old sign.
I don't know for sure but I would guess if you ask the council you would probably be told that there were different departments for the two different tasks.
It is likely that the old one will be taken out soon, but yes, probably by someone other than whoever put the new one in.
ReplyDeleteOften new street lights can exist among old ones before the old ones are removed. That is slightly different however because the new ones need to go live and there is usually a wait for the electric company to connect them up.
