Apple Problems Again

Now I am never one to miss the opportunity to attack apple so I was delighted to read that there is a problem with the iPhone 4, apparently if you hold it in the left hand side i.e. if you are left handed, the phone will lose two bars of signal.

Now this alone was enough to get me laughing at the queues of steeple outside the O2 store today (not sure why when the shop seemed to always be empty) but then I heard Steve Jobs solution. "Don't hold it that way." Thanks for that Mr. Jobs

But then the best bit, Apple have a solution to the problem a patch they will be releasing in a couple of months, which will change the way the signal is displayed, they are not going to fix the fault, just show it differently - surely even the sheeple will not accept this.

Apple Store opening

They have just opened an Apple store in Crawley, it isn't an actual apple store, just an "Apple specialist" store. Whatever that means, I happened to be in town so I snapped these pictures.

I have never made a secret of my distaste for Apple, (Due to them being overpriced and often inferior) but today I did get to learn a new word, Sheeple, these people were all queuing just to be the first people to enter a shop which sold overpriced products for a lot more than they are available on-line.

iPhone Chief Steve Jobs Proves he has Common Touch

I blogged a little earlier about the appalling story revolving around one of Apple’s iPhone factories having 10 suicides. Steve Jobs (Apple CEO) has defended his firms record at the site (Which comes after another worker has taken their own life at another Foxconn factory) Mr Jobs stated at the “All things Digital” conference that he felt that the factory is a “Pretty nice” place. And I am sure that for him it is after all with the average worker earning £90 a month and the iPhone unit retailing for up to £769.99 (Source http://www.applenew.com/) each worker only needs to make 2 a year for it to be a very nice place for Mr. Jobs. Maybe it is time he joined us in the real world, Where a Human Life means more than a quick buck.
