It is not without a small amount of Irony that Labour MP Denis MacShane is jailed for expenses fraud.
MacShane who submitted false receipts for over £12,000 was forced to resign when he worked for the BBC for making a hoax call accusing then Home Secretary Reg Maudling of being a crook.
Maybe it was his belief that Government was full of crooks that got him involved in the first place!
