Holiday Firm Sun4U have today announced they are folding, this is a worrying trend where several travel firms have had to be assisted by ABTA to get people home.
There are approx 1,200 people stranded this time but they should all get home safely
The Birmingham-based firm's website advised customers to phone claim handlers CEGA on 01243 621 500.
It must be a really horrible thing to be stuck in another country and not know how you will get home but at least we have safety nets in place for this kind of incident. I am however very glad that I will not be going away this year, and I think in future I may have to stick with bigger companies.
